Andrew Jusko, MD
Andrew Jusko, MD joined Freeman Botnick, MD at Eyesight and Surgery Associates in 2004. Dr. Jusko graduated from Middlebury College summa cum laude. He then attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and graduated magna cum laude. Furthermore, he achieved the highest honor of joining Alpha Omega Alpha as a third year medical student. Dr. Jusko completed his residency training in Ophthalmology at Cornell University Medical Center in New York City. He is an avid golfer and lives in Longmeadow, MA.

Larry A. Litscher, MD
Larry A. Litscher, MD, a native of Pittsfield Massachusetts, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, where he was Phi Beta Kappa and participated on the varsity cross-country and ski teams. Furthermore, Dr. Litscher is a board-certified eye physician and surgeon who is also fellowship trained as a sub-specialist in corneal diseases and surgery. His practice encompasses comprehensive care, including cataract, glaucoma, infectious disease, contact lenses, and diabetes.

Kathryn Skarbez, OD
Dr. Kathryn Skarbez studied biology at the University of Scranton prior to her early acceptance into optometry school. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2010. Following graduation, Dr. Skarbez completed a residency in ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Roxbury, MA. She continued working with the Veterans Affairs in Northampton, MA prior to joining Eyesight and Surgery Associates. Dr. Skarbez is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Kim Krusell, OD
Dr. Krusell received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She developed an interest in improving access to eye care, working with Chicago Public Schools school-based eye clinic, doing eye exams at Special Olympics events, and going with a team to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Dr. Krusell completed internships in Chicago and Denver before returning to New England to complete her residency in ocular disease and primary eye care, serving veterans at the VA Boston Healthcare System. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and serves as adjunct clinical faculty for several colleges of optometry, working with optometry students at the VA Hospital in Northampton. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Dickinson College. She loves educating patients and believes eye exams are essential to good health and wellbeing. When she is not in the office, she enjoys running on trails and seeking out all the local produce the valley has to offer.

Lauren Branchini, MD
Dr. Branchini graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and received further training as a resident in Ophthalmology at Tufts/New England Eye Center. Having a strong interest in ophthalmic imaging, she completed a clinical research fellowship in Optical Coherence Tomography at the Tufts/New England Eye Center and the Research Laboratory for Electronics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Dr. Branchini strives to practice patient-centered comprehensive ophthalmology (Glaucoma, cataract etc.) with a focus on the medical treatment of retinal diseases (Macular Degeneration, Diabetic eye disease etc.). She also has an interest in the refractive use of intraocular lenses in cataract surgery. She very much enjoys spending time with family, gardening, hiking, playing music and visual arts.
